- Announcing the upcoming 2021 Best Paper Award
The IES is pleased to announces the 2021 IES Best Paper Award competition. The IES looks forward to highlighting exciting advances and breakthrough development in the broad area of EPR and ESR. This award will be given to up 2 publications per year (from Mar. 2020 to Mar 2021), and the first author recognized with this award. The expectation is that the first author is a young scientist. Nomination can be made by any ACTIVE IES member (namely – dues must be paid for 2021), faculty or student. If self-nomination is made, it can be made only by the first author or the corresponding author. Nomination by first author should be accompanied by letter from the corresponding author explaining the role of the first author. Deadline for this Award is March 31 2020.
The application material that includes the following items should be packed into a single PDF document and emailed to the IES secretary ab359@technion.ac.il .
- a. Cover letter not exceeding 1 page with your name, role and affiliation, full citation of the paper and explanation as to why this paper represents an exciting advance and breakthrough development in the broad area of EPR and ESR.
- b. PDF of the nominated publication.
- c. If applicable, letter from the corresponding author, not exceeding 1 page, explaining the role of the first author.

For those of you who did not pay their dues for 2021 yet, or those of you who know researchers that were never members of the IES – this message, from IES president (Prof. Songi Han), is for you.
The International EPR Society (IES) NEEDS YOU as its member
The IES is committed to keeping up with the fast pace of research developments, and doing its part to make sure we as a society evolve with its constituents and the new directions that they will lead us to. The IES 𝑖𝑠 𝑜𝑛𝑙𝑦 𝑎𝑠 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑 𝑎𝑠 𝑖𝑡𝑠 Members, the IES IS its Members.
In the welcome letter, we highlighted some of the important activities of the IES to support the EPR community. Help us do all of these activities by becoming a paying member, and encourage your students to become paying members. Remember that a larger membership makes our Society also attractive for our sponsors. If you are a sponsor, please support the IES. We will return your support by helping you advertise EPR supplies, services and instruments through all channels and avenues available to the IES.
