A postdoc position is available in Malcolm Levitt’s group in Southampton, to do research on the NMR, terahertz spectroscopy and neutron scattering of endofullerenes. Previous experience of terahertz spectroscopy or neutron scattering is not required, but the position will probably suit best someone who is interested in the quantum physics aspects of NMR and have some experience of cryogenic equipment and solid-state NMR in general. The research is on some very unusual molecular systems which exhibit “particle-in-a-box” quantum behaviour of encapsulated atoms and molecules and offers a great opportunity to work on the boundary between several different areas of chemistry, physics and spectroscopy. We are interdisciplinary consortium working over several different countries using many different techniques. For some of our publications in this area see http://arxiv.org/abs/2102.06389, doi.org/10.1038/s41598-020-74972-3, https://doi.org/10.1021/jacs.0c08586, doi.org/10.1039/D0CP01282C, doi.org/10.1002/anie.201900983, doi.org/10.1103/ PhysRevLett.120.266001
