Dear community,
we have an opening for an exciting position as dDNP scientist with focus on biomedical application. Your task would be to develop our DNP program with respect to biomedical application and human translation. Depending on your experience, you may take on leading the DNP group, which is supported by several third party projects. We would expect you to publish and acquire third-party funding, which will be facilitated by access to state of the art equipment such as a brand-new spin-aligner dDNP, a Xenon-polarizer, parahydrogen-polarisers, a 7T avance neo small animal MRI, a 9.4T wide bore avance neo NMR/MRI, several human MRIs (2021) with x-nuclei and a fully equipped animal imaging facility (www.MOINCC.de). You will be placed in a rich and stimulating environment of hyperpolarization research, MRI science, molecular imaging an human studies.
The position is funded within the cluster of excellence “precision medicine in chronic inflammation” (www.precisionmedicine.de) with excellent ties to the regional scientific network. The position is located at section biomedical imaging (SBMI) in the Dept. of Radiology at UKSH, Germanys second largest university hospital. A competitive salary will be provided according to the German public service including benefits, partially depending on your previous experience (fixed term).
