University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) is hiring a NMR Chemist.
Position Summary: The Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) Chemist is primarily responsible for leading the development of solid-state material science research utilizing a 400mHz solid-state NMR spectrometer equipped with a Klystron dynamic nuclear polarization (DNP); representing one of the first of its kind to be installed in the United States. This position will work autonomously for full development of MAS-NMR and DPN methods and experimentation while also being responsible to maintain the instrument on a regular basis. This position will also work closely with other scientists and engineers investigating materials for various applications with primary focus on commercial and novel heterogeneous catalysts and metal oxide materials.
