ENGLISH JOB DESCRIPTION:
YOUR TASKS:
- Technical management of a worldwide unique large-scale MRI device and the associated high-frequency laboratory at the TU Hamburg campus.
- Maintenance, installation, and repair of acquisition hardware, e.g. gradient amplifiers, RF amplifiers, duplexers, cooling units as well as general electrical work.
- Development and construction of innovative coils for MRI, e.g. digital acquisition (integrated ADC), coil arrays, microcoils, and surface coils.
- Development of control elements for experiments, e.g. using microcontrollers to control procedurally relevant experiments and synchronize them with the MR acquisition system.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Completed Bachelor studies or comparable studies in the field of electrical engineering as well as other employees with equivalent skills and experience.
ADVANTAGE:
- Independent, motivated and reliable way of working.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic to advanced knowledge of German
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Experience with the construction of antennas or coils in the megahertz range or experience with microelectronics.
