About the Roles

Atomic/Optical NMR Physicist: At DeepSpin, you will be joining the advanced concepts R&D team in the Berlin-Potsdam office. This team will apply cutting edge physics to develop the technology of tomorrow’s MRI machines. You will be responsible for the entire development pipeline: modelling geometries, simulating performance metrics, assembling and troubleshooting prototypes and PCBs and coding control/correction algorithms.

Lead Atomic Physicist: At DeepSpin, you will lead the advanced concepts R&D team in the Berlin-Potsdam office. This team will apply cutting edge physics to develop the technology of tomorrow’s MRI machines. You will lead 5-7 engineers responsible for the entire development pipeline: modelling geometries, simulating performance metrics, assembling and troubleshooting prototypes and PCBs and coding control/correction algorithms.

Atomic/Optical NMR Physicist

  • PhD in experimental atomic physics or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in optically pumped NMR/MRI/EPR or similar techniques
  • First principles thinking, excellent communication skills in English and a proactive, positive attitude
  • Preferred: postdoc or industry experience in a leading research group/company
  • Preferred: publications in top journals

Lead Atomic Physicist

  • PhD in experimental atomic physics or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience working in optically pumped NMR/MRI/EPR or similar techniques
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience, preferably in a fast-growing team and environment
  • Ability to inspire and motivate to achieve self-imposed goals and outstanding results
  • First principles thinking, excellent communication skills in English and a proactive, positive attitude
  • Preferred: postdoc or industry experience in a leading research group/company
  • Preferred: publications in top journals
