In this area of their scholarly contributions, Gareth and Sandy worked together so seamlessly that there is no point in trying to separate out their contributions, so with a few exceptions, we group together their roles. With their life-long interest in teaching and mentoring, much of their academic efforts have been directed towards educating and informing the EPR community, and therefore, they have been very active in facilitating meetings, workshops, and professional organizations.
