Dear NMR Researchers,

The Global NMR Twitter Conference https://www.globalnmr.org/nmrtc22 registration deadline is approaching (June 23). Register soon https://forms.gle/AuydQRKcVAUtBcJD9.

Please note that the conference is open to all (students/postdocs/researchers/principal investigators), but the prize (sponsored by ISMAR) is for students and postdocs only.

Regards,
Global NMR Organizers.

Global NMR Discussion Meetings will conduct a summer Twitter Conference (fully online from August 3-5, 2022) on the development and application of NMR spectroscopy, to provide opportunities to all interested students and postdocs to present their research, facilitate open discussions, and promote networking across the wider NMR user base. While traditional avenues of scientific dissemination are often limited by presentation/Q&A time, the Twitter conference will be open for three days, allowing participants to freely engage with one another. Access to the Twitter Conference is completely free and open to everyone (no travel or registration costs). The conference is generously supported by the International Society of Magnetic Resonance (ISMAR).

Participants will upload a short 2-minute video or a poster to present their work. Innovative formats of presentation and high quality of work will be recognized with prizes and opportunities to give a talk in the Global NMR Discussion Meetings. Creative, easy to understand presentations in the form of short, animated videos/GIFs are highly encouraged.

The titles and abstracts of registered participants will be made available on our website (https://www.globalnmr.org), and organized into subtopics, along with the links to the Twitter thread. Therefore, interested viewers will be able to find a video and the corresponding Twitter discussion thread that interests them. Audience will also be able to find posts related to the Twitter conference via the hashtag #GlobalnmrTC2022.

How will this work?

  1. *Register* before July 23rd, 2022 to present: https://forms.gle/AuydQRKcVAUtBcJD9 (Eligible candidates*: *undergraduates, graduates, postdocs from across the world)

  2. *Tweet* your presentation with a title and the hashtag #GlobalnmrTC2022 (more information on posting the presentation will be sent to registered participants later). Recorded videos cannot be longer than 2-minutes. Posters can be uploaded directly as images.

  3. *Discuss* and engage during the 3-day conference (August 3-5, 2022) by commenting and responding to questions and retweeting presentations. Make sure to respond to questions as there may be questions from the organizers/judges.

  4. *Win prizes *for best presentations, creative presentation format and mind-blowing content.

Upon registration, participants acknowledge that:

  1. All the content shall be posted on Twitter, meaning that presentations can be viewed by anyone on the internet.
  2. Global NMR Discussion Meetings has the rights to share the uploaded presentations on Twitter, YouTube or the Global NMR Website.

We look forward to receiving your registrations soon.

Best regards,
Global NMR Discussion Meetings
