Postdoctoral Positions at Dartmouth (Hanover, NH USA)
We have openings for multiple postdoctoral positions in my group at Dartmouth. Our group uses magnetic resonance methods (NMR, EPR, DNP, ODMR) to study the dynamics of interacting spins with applications in magnetometry and sensing. You can find out more about the group and recent publications at sites.dartmouth.edu/quantum-spin-lab.
The lab has two DNP setups - one at 94 GHz and a second at 196 GHz, two 2.5 GHz pulsed EPR setups (one operating at cryogenic temperatures), a 9.4 T NMR system and multiple ODMR setups.
If you are interested in DNP methodology and/or instrumentation or the use of NMR/EPR for studying out-of-equilibrium spin dynamics and quantum sensing, please get in touch.
Please contact me (Chandrasekhar.Ramanathan@dartmouth.edu) for more information and to submit an application. While the positions are available now, I am open to delaying the starting date for the right candidates.
Dartmouth is Located in Hanover, New Hampshire, about a two hour drive north of Boston, Massachusetts (a similar distance from Sherbrooke and 3 hours from Montreal). Dartmouth’s campus borders the Connecticut River in the “Upper Valley” between New Hampshire’s White Mountains and the Green Mountains of Vermont.
